Thurgood Marshall Academy Mentoring Program.
Thurgood Marshall Academy is looking for lawyers and law students to assist with their mentoring and tutoring programs for the 2009-2010 year. The Young Lawyer's Divison is seeking members to assist with this initiative to support high school students who desire to have law-related careers. Interested candidates must sign up before September 18, 2009. The two programs are described below.
Mentors:

Tutors:
TMA has a Homework Help Program where students come to get assistance with general subject areas including science, math, English, history, law and Spanish. The program is from 3:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. There is no minimum time committment required but students benefit best from consistent tutoring on a regular basis (i.e. once per week).
